For those traveling from out of state, we recommend planning your flights, drive, and stay so that you can spend a little extra time enjoying our city and surrounding areas. Check out the Things to Do page for local and nearby fun.
Flying
We recommend you explore Southwest, as Baltimore is a hub, and you'll likely find several non-stop options.
BWI is about 20 minutes from downtown (Marriott hotel block) and 30 minutes from Towson (Sheraton hotel block).
Rental cars are available for pick up at the airport with a short shuttle ride.
Ubers, Lyft etc. are available at the airport and are located on the departure deck.
Hotel Information
Book hotels by using the links provided or by calling and indicating the Grundy Wedding Block to receive the group rate. Reservations need to be made by August 12th to receive the group rate.
Both hotels have the group rate applied to Friday evening and Saturday evening, however, a two-night stay is not required.
Baltimore Marriott Waterfront
This hotel is about 20 minutes from the wedding venue and centrally located in Harbor East / Inner Harbor. You're walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and attractions.
Room block rate is $239/ night.
Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel
This hotel is located in Towson, MD a northern Baltimore County suburb. It is also about 20 minutes from the wedding venue. You're walking distance to many great restaurants and bars however you will have an easier time driving and parking. Parking at the hotel is across the street and the preferred rate is $7.00 per car up to 3 hours and $15.00 per car per day (up to 24 hours).
Room block rate is $159.00/ night.

Airplane = Airport
Red Circle & Blue Circle = This is called the Inner (Blue) and Outer (red) Loop. It's the primary highway that connects all of Baltimore's surrounding neighborhoods and therefore is very highly traveled. The loops can get congested even at odd times, so be sure you're checking your travel times, as 10 miles can sometimes mean 40 minutes. This is also a tollway in both directions as you come into or out of the city. It's done with license plate recognition, so just keep on driving and you'll receive mail in a few weeks.
Red / Blue Arrow = This is Hwy 83; it will also get very congested at certain times and often has partial lane closures.
Lastly, there isn't a good way to say it, but Maryland drivers are awful! Please be extra careful while driving, specifically on the inner and outer loops and on Hwy 83.
